You can always do a google for current exchange rates. But I dont think its a lot, about £20 in English.

thanks everyone. I am wondering what it costs in Aussie dollars because the exchange rate is attrocious!! I don't want to have to sell my house to pay for it !! LOL So I gather it is not sold in shops. Karen

Hi, its actually FT2005, you dont want to end up with any older version! Im not in aus, but I bought mine on line for 30 dollars including shipping and it arrived from the states in 5 days. Been brilliant so far, in fact there are lots of features I havent even looked at yet.

Karen I bought over the internet a genealogy programme called Roots Magic. It cost me about $30 US. They will give you a 14 days free trial and if you like it you can buy it, I am very pleased with it. Might be a idea to try and see if you like it or not. It was very easy to purchase by credit card over the net . I also found it easy to work out how to use it. Mary in Sydney

HI Just wondering where you can buy it in Aust. Is it in shops or do you have to oder it online?? Also........how much does it cost? It was my birthday on the weekend but.......no Family Tree Maker. SOB thanks Karen
