OK, it was worth trying a search from the "UK Census Collection" page as sometimes there a few bits from around the edges of a county. You can't search from the 1901 page until they add the county to the drop down selection list. Search from "UK Census Collection" using a common name and make a note of the total. You can then easily check to see when more appear - it is quite easy to see when the county has been don by comparing the total for 1871, 1891 and 1901. I think they have said that 1901 will be completed around February next year. Martin |

Unavailable where? Both will be online 1901 census site. Both will be available on film in libraries around Yorkshire and Durham. I think you can buy both on CD-ROM from S&N. ancestry have not covered those areas yet but will be doing so over the next months. Martin |

The 1901 census is said to be conplete but some of us have our doubts! It's online at www.census.pro.gov.uk. There is also a decoder which you can download and it helps to group people in to family groups. Hope that helps. Jan |
