Help with understanding something on 1837 please

Dear All Please could someone tell me what the following stands for in 1837 - Foreign list GRO - which is followed by several headings in the list and U.K.H.C. which is in another of the possible headings. Please excuse me if I'm being daft but not being from the UK originally I sometimes get a bit lost with abbreviations etc. Thanks Maggie

GRO - General Register Office UKHC - United Kingdom High Commission - registrations made by UK high commissioner in a commonwealth country (as opposed to Consular which are registrations made by British Consul in a foreign country)
