Hi there, Albert grove ran parallel to Stockport Road, Longsight, between Kirkmanshulme Lane and Stanley Grove. During the sixties a lot of that area was pulled down and the residents were housed in various housing estates in the Manchester area. The most likely destination for the people of Longsight and Gorton would have been Hattersley, via Hyde, but they could have opted to go anywhere including Wythenshawe or Burnage. If you know the address they were living at, then try Manchester Council, they may be able to help. Hope you find them. Mary

All i now is thay lived there in the early sixtys as i was born then,after that the next time we trid 2 c them,in the early eightys thay werent there nore was the house so my brother told me.

You will need to give some approximate dates for anyone to be able to help you. Are you looking for a person called Albert Grove, as in the title you have put 'Finding Albert' or is 2 Albert Grove the address?

i have been trying 2 do my tree without much luck,, would anyone now what happened 2 albert grove, longsight,manchester or any of the people that lived there. any info how little doesnt matter.
