Dear All, Apologies for posting a duplicate thread - I had overlooked Malcom Spiers original thread about the Gedcom upload problems. Think we should consider my end of this (loose) thread well and truly tied up. Iain

I'm sure somebody else will know better than me, as I haven't actually done imported yet (only exported) but I'm sure I remember seeing on here before that you have to be the root of the tree. So I think you could be right there. Mandy :)

Hi there, Hope someone can give me some advice in uploading my Gedcom file. After I upload the file I get a white screen saying:- File shaw.ged posted successfully. Start repost Reposting to URL "http://www.genesreunited.com/genesreunited.asp?wci=loadgedcom&wce=enter&member_key=1768993" failed. repost failed I have tried exporting my Gedcom from Family tree maker 2005 in various formats, and the latest PAF from LDS again in various formats. My GR tree has only me in it, and the details match me on the PAF file. However I am not the root of the Gedcom file, as I have my wife and my brother and sister on - could this be causing a problem ? Any help gratefully received. Iain
