Could anyone please tell me is their a database which is just for the mining industry that I can look up regarding a miner I think died while working in the mines in South Wales. Hope so. Marilyn. |

Hi Jan sorry for delay I have been on the welshcoalmine site its a great site. I was hoping to find my Great Grandfather a Richard Thomas Phillips but I dont know which mine he worked at nor when he died silly I know but I was hoping I might find something but there were loads of mine and didnt know where to start. Marilyn - I have a number of Thomas Philips who die in the mines in Monmouthshire and Glamorgan. When was he born and when was his last chid born - that could be a pointer. Jan |
