Well Malcolm aren't you an M as well? Haven't solved my problem but someone has something positive through this thread! Marion(Merseyside) I haven't as yet had my e-mail returned that I sent to you to its probably waiting in some server looking for a direction to go!! Probably come back to me tomorrow. Thanks everyone for your input. Someone in the know at Aol may eventually sort this out. Any IT Genius at Genes Reunited reading this? Marion

I have sent an e-mail via the site and hopefully she should have that. I may try sending an e-mail via my work address which has a different server and try that as a test. Marion

I am on aol and my daughter who is on hot(mail) has been having problems sending me emails, they are returned saying there is a delay. She has managed to send them to me now, so is it a problem between the 2 servers? Meryl

Hi Marion, Obviously not all servers are affected. Since starting this board Malcolm has tried all ways to find a way of accepting my e-mails and they are still being returned to me as undeliverable. Its a one way process, I receive them from aol but cannot send back in reply. Marion

Nice to hear I am not the only one. Perhaps someone should contact AOL, I get fed up with the ad at the side of this page, it can't be a viable option if it stops important contacts. Marion

I've been sending my daughter in law e-mails to aol and most of them tell me there is a delay, but one of them was notified as a failure to deliver. I thought maybe she had a full inbox, but she tells me that is not so. Val

The same thing happened with BTinternet earlier this year. Aol think they own the internet and put stops on some servers if they think they are generating spam! I must say BT sorted it out in about 2 weeks. Perhaps you should contact Orange? Anne

I have been trying to send some family tree census information to a GR member who e-mailed me and unfortunately she has an aol server. I am unable to contact ANYONE with aol and everything keeps getting returned and rejected by server. This has been going on for months. Anyone know the reason for this? I have tried to contact the person via this site but have so far not heard back, probably because she has not read her e-mails. As an update to the responses I have had on this board I need to clarify that there is no problem whatsoever with the e-mails to and fro this site. Marion
