There can't be many/any? others with her name so if it were my search I'd take myself to a main library or archive and just plod through the marriage index starting from the last date that she was definitely known to be single. If she was known to have met someone, there is a good chance that she married. If you don't find her in a reasonable time frame, you should check the death index too. You may not find her, or may want to extend the years searched. It will be a long haul. Can you take someone to share your search? I have done something similar and got a result. Good luck.

Can anyone suggest any idea's on finding out whether a relative married or not. Looking for a marriage for Mildred Ann Barley known as Milly born 31.8.1893 at Brington in Huntingdonshire. Apparently left home probably in 1920's as she met someone from the Kent area have no name or anything, was never heard of again. Can not find any marriage record in our area or death cert so presume that she married, have left messages on sites, anyone any ideas as I have no dates, years or his name, a mystery that we wish to solve.
