Death certs?

On scotlandspeople you can search for death certs in both maiden and married name. Is the same true on 1837. If someone has been married and you don't know that name, can you trace them by their maiden name? Thanks Jeanie |

Sorry, deaths in England and Wales are indexed by the name the person was known as at time of death, which is almost certainly going to be the married name. There is no cross referencing. Judith |
