Sally If he kept the same name it may be possible to trace him but if they changed his name after the adoption it's virtually impossible to find out what that name was changed to. If his name was changed and you know it, you can probably get hold of the certificate that was issued to the adoptive parents. i was adopted in 1970 and my name was changed. I have 2 'birth certs', one with my original info on it and one that says 'Entry from the Adopted childrens register' on it which gives my new details. i would like any information that is available on how to find someone who has been adopted. my nephew was adopted at 4 yrs old hes name was lee charles fitzgerald born in 1979/80 in ascot berks any info would be great.
