Solved It !!! Uploading from PAF to GR :-)

I don't know if this will help anyone and have to say I had a bit of help from.... Peter Kraftt and Robin Haigh, But I have manage to upload successfully from PAF5 to GR From your PAF5 File: ____________1) File - Export ____________2) Select Other Gedcom 5.5 (and from the little upside down triangle next to it) Select ANSEL. It will come up with a message saying you may lose some characters that aren't in the Roman Alphabet but just click Yes or OK. ____________3) Save as Type (click the upside down triangle) select ALL Files. This saves the export file to your pc. Then you can follow the upload instuctions on GC I hope this helps someone, I had alot of trouble and thanks to friends on here I finally did it! G xxx |
