I have an Edward Beaumont married to a Hannah Taylor in Manchester in 1816, I am sure this is my 4xgrandfather, but I have his children on IGI as John 1821, Ruth 1832, Emma 1834, Mary 1836 and Edward 1838. I can find no one born between 1817-1820 and 1822-1831, andy ideas. elaine:))

Hi Elaine I found these 2 on the LDS site Luke Beaumond 23 Sep 1827 St Michael, Ashton Under Lyne John Beaumond 23 Sep 1827 St Michael, Ashton Under Lyne Could be worth investigating. Bear in mind that not all BMD's are on the IGI Jeanette x

Hi Elaine I've never looked in the Manchester area but this page is full of info http://www.tameside.gov.uk/leisure/new/lh31.htm Also it might be worth looking at the Lancashire Family History Societys website to see if they do any publications. Jeanette x

Elaine I've just had a look at the Hugh Wallis site for Ashton U L and its got quite a few Beaumonts there. No more children for Edward and Hannah but perhaps some of these could be related Jeanette x

To Jim and Jeanette, Thank you very much indeed for your help. The Ashton Under Lyne actually fits in with something I found last year but dismissed. Have never looked outside of Manchester for these people so a great help. Elaine:))
