It's so typical that my ancestors are mainly from Yorkshire and it seems it's always the last to be transcribed! As soon as it is I'll get myself to subscription, but not worth it yet until 1871 and 1901 Yorkshire are transcribed. It's just like when I'm at the supermarket - you can guarantee that whatever checkout I line up at ends up being the slowest. Just my luck :) Joanne

You'll find a list of the counties available under the "search box" after you have selected a particular census, I think. Alternatively, it will show you on the "drop down" county menu on the census page.

Someone here once gave a rundown on when countys were being added to 1871 and 1901. I have looked on the site and cant find anything about it, or am I looking right through it. (census image eyes) I thought someone said Somerset was going on last month.
