I have now got outlook express 6 and first I was unable to open any attachments....this is now cured, thanks to John. Now for some season when I send attachments to anyone they are unable to open it. I am as usual sending in tif form and it comes up on recievers puter as "the selected file is not a valid file, the image could not be read" is there a way round it as this seems stupid as I'm not doing anything out of ordinary to what I usually do. Plain instructions please ....bit thick on the puter Lynn |

If these are from 1901, is it possible to save them in another format. I havent been on 1901 for a long time so cant remember the options. Alternatively, have you tried opening the files in a paint programme such as Paint Shop Pro and then saving as jpeg or gif. Before you send them, open them first to check that they can be read easily. |
