I've no idea what a gc aa websit is, but if you go to your homepage and scroll down you will find "Getting Started" and "Links" - lots of info about sites. Basic stuff: www.familysearch.org has info for some parish records (mainly births & marriages) particularly useful for pre-1837 when civil registration started. It also has the 1881 census. FreeBMD (google to find, or it is in the "Getting Started" bit) has a lot of birth marriage and death indexes, but is not yet complete and has less for 20th century. You cannot view certificates online (unless they are Scottish) you have to order the certs once you have the index info. YOU WILL NOT FIND EVERYTHING ON THE INTERNET. But you can find lots of interesting sites by googling. happy hunting! nell
