Any one know if there is any info on deaths involved in mining disasters, a lot of my ancestors seem to be miners in Yorkshire Glynis

Hi Glynis Try www.cmhrc.pwp.blueyonder(.)co(.)uk - remove the dots obviously. This is the database of Uk Mining Deaths & Disasters and also has lots of other links. Also, the Hall Genealogy website at www.rmhh(.)co(.)uk is a website for people researching the HALL family name but if you go into the Research section at the top, there are loads of mining links. There's certainly one for durham mines - try typing yorkshire mining disasters into your search engine. The yorkshire family history site might have links too.
