Michelle... There is a site called <*www<.>shipsnostalgia<.>com*> It is full of people who know a lot about ships and they may even get a photo of it for you. I wanted to know about a ship and a lovely man sent me the history of it and a lovely photo, You may have to register with the site but it is free, and they have a message board where you can ask anything about ships. Michelle The Mauretania was a sister-ship of the Lusitania, the famous ship which was torpedoed by a German U boat in WW1. The Mauretania survived WW1 and held the Blue Ribband for fastest Transatlantic crossing for some years. Finally replaced by the New Mauretania in the 1930's. The Mauretania was a fine looking four funnled liner - I made an Airfix kit of her in my childhood and now wish I'd kept it! Ian

Can anyone tell me where I can get any information about the ship Moratania. Some of my family sailed over to America on her in the 1920's. I would be greatful for any help Michelle
