Finally got my NBI2 in the post today, feeling very low at the moment so thought great can spend a few hours going through looking, hey ho the cd drive won't work. Was perfectly fine last night, although recently has sometimes taken a few goes to get going. Any ideas you lovely people. computer is 2 years old in december on XP. Thanks Diane |

I am not particularly au fait with xp, but can you get into device manager and make sure the cd drive is enabled. Just looked on other halfs xp. Click Start - Control Panel - Performance & Maintainance - System. On Hardware tab lick Device Manager. |

If you have 2 CD drives, try it in the other one. |
