Poplar and Stepney are on the 1861 London CD's. However, there is no full surname index. S&N have a partial index but coverage is virtually non-existant in this area. The East of London Family History Society sell the census on CD's by registrations district - about 11 quid per area. If you have an address then you can e-mail me and I will look for you, but I don't have the index. Have a look on the record office board as there are a couple of people with surname indexes for Poplar and Stepney - my rellies aren't on them though grrr!! Maz. XX |
