I have recently been in contact with two seperate people who are definatley connected to my tree and was so excited when they both confirmed that we were conected. However when I emailed these people back and gave my email address so I could send pic certificates etc as attachments I never heard back from them. I'm devistated as I thought I was really getting somwhere and can't understand why they don't want to know. All I want to do is try and find a missing link my grt grans sisster who seems to have dissapeared of the face of the earth after 1871. Any thought would be appreciated. I'm thinking of giving it up as I was so close and then nothing. Sorry to go on but I'm gutted. Lesley

I always find e-mail and website addresses get scrambled by GC (despite others denying this!). Try again but replace any dots with stars, or put brackets round them. You cannot type the 'at sign' in GC either, so you would need to write it out in full, and you cannot type ya hoo as one word, so similar restrictions may apply for other provider names. Drives me up the wall! Maz. XX
