Should have been. I just did a search with google for "cremation" and found a website which looked interesting "Cremation Society of Great Britain Home PageThe Cremation Society of Great Britain was founded in 1874 to substitute cremation for burial as a means of disposing of the dead. ... Paula the records may also be at the actual Crematorium/Cemetary rather than kept centrally by the council. It will vary for each establishment. Contact the crem first and they can then tell you exactly. Maz. XX

Good advice Maz The records for burials and cremations in Hull are kept at the crematorium. Jeanette x
