Does anyone know if the badge for the Royal Garrison Artillery, WW1, is the same as that for the second WW2, it went on the cap. Am just researching Woolwich Barracks in connection with the British Army in India. Gt.Grandfather was there from late 1880s to 1909, in Pakistan.

Found this on Google http://www(.)regiments(.)org/regiments/uk/art-eng-sig/RA 9.)htm#unif stating Badges: A Gun between two scrolls, that above inscribed UBIQUE, that beneath inscribed QUO FAS ET GLORIA DUCUNT; the whole ensigned with The Crown. Is that any help to you

Thanks also Kevin, that sounds interesting, have been looking at old maps of India, think I was getting muddled!. Was trying to find out where Gt.Grandfather was based!. Just know he was in no5 Mountain Battery, R.G.A. , Google comes up with some info. around Quetta and Jutogh!.
