Manda I have in the last few months sent off the form to get my grandads records, you must know his regiment to get this done or they will not be able to find his records. As no one knew his regiment it was fortunate that on the birth certificate of his child born in 1944, I found his regiment and number. You can also get any medal entitlement he had from a different army depatment . Jamie Tyrrell

I know Nell, thought I'd get differences reponses if I put it on both!! I thought different people look at difference boards - obviously you must look at them all!! xxx Manda :-)

Before I write to Army Personnel Records office, for information on my grandfather. I was just wondering what sort of information they give out and do you have to pay for anything?? Thanks Manda xx :-)
