All the hard work had been done by the wife of my 2nd cousin once removed. She sent me lots of info and although I didnt have much to send in return, she was happy with the little I did send. |

Wow, well done Carol! I have made contact with a few cousins myself, but our common ancestor is my great-grandfather, so that's only 150 years ago. It is a great feeling though, isn't it? Carole |

So pleased for you. There is something special about finding others who share our ancestry. Probably just as well we can't contact all our 10th cousins etc though - just think of the christmas card bill :-) Judith |

She is in the USA and is my 11th great grandfathers brothers 10th great granddaughter, I think. This goes back to 1560 |
