Carla, Most unlikely she would have remarried in Ireland, it is far less of a hassle if you do not attempt to. In the South that is. Would you have any idea what part of Ireland they may have gone to i.e. North or South? The Salvation Army are situated in Dublin (Abbey Street, Dublin 1) if you want to try for Southern Ireland Dublin Area, or they may be able to help further afield. Good Luck Pat x |

Some LDS centres have Ireland indices but I think they are only early ones. |

Carla-Marie a) she might not have married again, in which case there will be no marriage record to find. b) even if there is a marriage record, that won't tell you where she is living now. If you go to the homepage on this website and scroll down there is a heading Genealogical Resources, with a section underneath called Tracing Irish Roots, which may help. good luck nell |

I went to the GRO to find the marriage certificate of my husband's sister, but she left her husband behind and went off with another man to Ireland in around 1995. I assumed she got married again. How can I find her marriage record in Ireland from England in order to track her down to give her the family news? Thanks, Caz |
