I have all my records stored on Easy Tree but a little while ago I went off on the wrong track and had to delete quite a number of entries. A couple of times now my computer has crashed while Easy Tree has been open (think new comuter called for!) and when I re-boot the system validates my tree and puts back all my deleted entries on both the main tree and any copies. I then spend ages deleting them all again. Apart from starting my tree from scratch does anyone have any ideas how I permently delete these unwanted people Maggie |

If you can stay on it long enough, delete all the unwanted ones, and then create a gedcom file of what is left. Not sure how that software does it, try the help file, but it may be on the File tab, then Import/Export Once you have done that, delete the entire database from Easy Tree, even if you have to uninstall and install again to clear everything. Start with a clean slate, then import the gedcom file you previously saved Hope that makes sense. |

Incidentally, nothing to do with your problem, but other half has gone to Hurstpier Point today. Anywhere near you. I have emailed you |
