Louise, It was a site where you could get information about certain census's 1871 certain places 1891 most places and 1901 certain places.....I managed to get loads of images for free, hope it comes back.

Researching:
Ringrose from Countesthorpe Lord and Burley from Countesthorpe...Dixon Dawson Wood and Wilkinson from Caistor ,Starkey and Wood from Edendam. Hare from Horncastle.

i miss the gale site too, i enjoyed helping others with searches, it was great to help someone and get thanx back . everyone i helped and there was hundreds and hundreds they all thanked me wether i helped or tried to help. thanx everyone for all them nice emails from you, and for those who i may not have got a chance to help DONT WORRY I'LL BE BACK. lol . hurry back gales angie

Hi, I'm surprised it stayed as long as it did. The trial was meant for institutions only but the "word" got out. We shouldn't have been allowed to access it at all and we've been rumbled, sadly. Gwynne
