Does anyone know what a Peruke Maker is I assume it's an occupation but I'm not sure. Any help would be appreciated Thanks Chris |

A Peruke is a wig for men. From a site I found on google. Per´uke Noun 1. peruke - wig for men fashionable in 17th-18th centuries periwig wig - hairpiece covering the head and made of real or synthetic hair |

Hi Kathleen and Carole Thanks for your replies I'm really grateful. Must admit not something I would think of but now I know it fits in with the time 1713 all men wore wigs then, so it's no wonder he left an estate. Cheers Chris |
