Carol The best site to send money i.m.o. is paypal They will convert any currency if you are sterling, Euros, US Dollars or Canadian Dollars Australian, or Jamaican Dollars anything. You must check the website you are on to know which whey are dealing with, hope its is paypa as its so easy. Pat x

Hi carol this is steve in ontario canada if the site was canadian it would then be in canadian unless otherwise stated,hope this helps

Thanks Sandra, I cant remember which site it was now, I did put it in the favourites. It is the one that does searches about the 1940 National Registration. My g grandparents and their children emigrated to Canada and I am trying to find out when, as I keep getting conflicting stories. It is eith 1912 or the 1920s

Hi Carol, It depends on the site. Most often though the price is in US Dollars- but not 100 % of the time. I thought they would have to a member of Paypal to be able to use it, but I may not be right about that. What site was it you were looking at. I could possibly see what I can find out. When a Canadian site gives a price in dollars, is this Canadian or US dollars please. Also, how would you suggest I pay them. My credit card doesnt work overseas, but I do have paypal. The site in question does not give an email address for me to ask. Thanks
