Lynne, Here's a website you may like to check for the Cree name. http://www.cree(.)ie/ Please don't forget to remove the brackets. I think its intersting, hope you do. Good Luck Pat x

Emma Thanks for that. Yes I do have them on 1881 - sorry, forgot Eliza was born in Ireland. Lynne

Lynne, 1871 for Derbyshire isn't on Ancestry yet and if Beighton falls under South Yorks that also isn't included at the moment - which might be why you can't find them ;-) By the way have you seen them on 1881 - Eliza is born Ireland. Emma x

Can anyone give me some tips on how to find a family on Ancestry 1871 census. I have tried soundex but no luck. The family are as follows:- Cree, John b. approx 1805 Cree, Eliza b. approx 1815 Cree, Eliza b.1844 Cree, Mary b.1847 Cree, Ann b.1849 Cree, John, b.1851 Cree, Ellen b.1853 Cree, Emma b.1856 Cree, Gertrude b.1859 As far as I know all born in Beighton, Derbyshire although some births registered as Rotherham. Any advice would be appreicated. Thanks Lynne
