I have the following... my grandads DOB (1911 in Scotland) His fathers name and his mothers....I know my grandad was the youngest of eight(have 5 of his brothers/sisters names)...I know the address they lived in at the time...possible that all the children were born at that address...what should I do next...??

Have you tried the 1901 online Census and also www.scotlandspeople.com as they might have relevant parish records.

Your first port of call should be www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk Scots records are far more comprehensive than English ones.Birth entries give the maiden name of mother,fathers name,place and time of birth and when and where the parents married.

Thanks folks...scotlandspeople my next stop!!! Christ am addicted to this already....is it normal to annoy the hell out of family members with questions all the time lol....got them fighting over who's right about a disputed DOB!!! lmao madness!
