Nudge. Jenny, i've messaged you. Sioux, Emigrated mid 70's is a little hard. My rellie's came here 1968, so i'm in the same boat. As records are held state by state, it would be helpful if you knew which state to search in. Having said that, the state library queensland claim to hold census & electoral records for all the states and their services appear to be free. Their site is www(.)slq(.)qld(.)gov(.)au - remove brackets. If i have any luck myself i'll let you know how & where etc. Happy searching, Mel:-)

Dear Sioux.... The National Library of Australia holds a lot of records. The old electoral rolls are your best bet as they also give the address of the person. try this site... www.nla.au/guides/discoverguides/electoralrolls.html scroll to the bottom of the page and click on Enquiries then click on FOR and then family history. They have an email address I think shown also so if you cant find what you want try emailing them for the info. Best of luck Mary in Sydney

Married Ivan Rushden presumably in the Midlands. Had 2 children Peter and Terri ( a Girl) then emigrated to Australia in the mid 70's.
