Sally, if you are google-searching on your research, the name of the island is Isle of Wight, not White. Good luck, Carole

Sally As far as I know there aren't any. If you want to look at old newspapers, you have to go to the British Library newspaper library in Colindale, North London, or to the local record office for the area in which you are interested. What information are you trying to find, it may be available elsewhere? nell

Dear All Please culd some one point me in the direction of some newspaper archives for LONDON and the ISLE OF WHITE in which I can look at on the net thanks Sally
