Oh wonderful, you are stars. Thank you very much indeed Pat and Jenny. Basically, I just lie to the system :-) From henceforward I hope to be known as "Tina from incredibly flat Cheshire". (Thought again about "Tina the idiot" but it was a bit too near the truth for comfort). Tina |

Tina, I am known as Patricia on Genes and I like yourself didnt like it. I was able to change my name to the short version Pat for the message boards but I am still welcomed as Patricia. I dont know of any way to change the original, I dont mind too much as Patricia only turns up on the homepage, and to avoid that I log in straight to the message boards were it says welcome Pat. You change it in account details. Good Luck Pat x |

Can anyone tell me how to change the name that GC calls me. Every time I open it up, it says "Welcome back Christina" and I jump back 3 feet in terror. The only person who ever called me Christina was my mother, when I had done something of which she disapproved (quite regularly, as I recall). I am always known as Tina amongst my friends, and feel that I am amongst friends here. So can anyone tell me how to call myself something appropriate - "Tina the Idiot", possibly? |
