I think you'll find that the Inbox has the messages you've received in date order. The contact list is in alphabetical order. I must say I'm beginning to get used to it. It certainly helps to keep track of all the different connections. The inbox and sent messages box will always be there to help keep tabs on everyone. Previously I had a jumble of messages in my Outlook Express folder and had begun to lose track of who they were all talking about! Anne

Elizabeth I think the contacts list is in alphabetical order of the last name. I must admit I wish they would put it back to being in date order as the most recent contact is usually the one I want to deal with. Kath.

On the subject of contacts, I can see that my sent and received list is in date order, but there seems to be no method behind the list of contacts. In my list, it is just a jumble of dates and not listed by alphabetical order. Anyone have any theories on the reason? Maybe I am missing something?

Oops, sorry, I take back what I said earlier. I forgot that I had changed my email address for this site and the emails telling me about the contact were on that address along with ones confirming I had replied. So your answer is Yes, you do get an email. Carole

you seem to have to look on your contacts list if you click on name it says sentmail and if there is a reply you find that there also. I found one I didnt know about but usually it doesnt make any difference because I dont seem to get any replies not even a ***off come to think of it I dont very often get mail from here either sandra

I don't think so, as the contact only goes onto their (and your) contact/message page. The other person gets an email saying there is a message (I think). However, someone recently sent me a message in response to a thread I had on this board and I only knew because my homepage on this site said that I had new messages. If the person receiving the message isn't a regular visitor to this site, who knows how long it will take for them to get the message? For some reason, GR seem to think this is an improvement! I really don't like the changes they have made lately, & if you read through this board, you will see that I am not alone... Carole.
