yes it does, but the version I had (a year or so ago) wasn't as "fully functional" as MSN. I only used it as I had a couple of contacts on AIM and a couple on Yahoo. I convinced them all to migrate to MSN :) Worth checking out tho

Judy You might want to have a look at TRILLIAN, you can get it from downloads(.)com Its a front end to MSN/AIM/ICQ/Yahoo etc. I used it for a while, but found that it was slightly limiting, as didn't have all the features of MSN (may have been improved now though). Not sure if it links them all together though, which seem to be what you're after ? Also, there's something called Jabber, which we use at work, its our corporate messaging system, plus has gateways to MSN/Yahoo etc - you may be able to get a personal version, have a look on Downloads or tucows. Thanks for that, Dee! I just now figured out the MSN. My reason for using the MSN was to be able to help another GR member who wanted to learn how to use it.....I usually just use my AIM and AOL.....which so far I like better as it has more features....unless I'm missing some options that are not listed under the MSN / WINDOWS options. Judy : )

Hi Judy... Just a thought....you probably know already, but MSN, once you have a "passport" also works with Windows Messenger. Dee

Mags..... If you managed to get set up on MSN Instant Messaging, you can add me to your buddy list..... I wish GR would fix it so we can post addresses properly! What a pain in the butt! Judy

Shan... Much appreciated! I see in my regular e-mail that I have a message at the GR site, however, your message is not showing at the GR site! GRRRR! I can only assume that the GR site will catch up shortly. I am assuming that since I need a passport (which I already signed up a while ago when I set up E-mail accounts through MSN (aka H*otmail) that I would have to download and install the IM program that they offer as they appear not to work with other IM Programs. I appreciate, very much, your taking the time out of your busy day to check that for me! Judy

Greetings all.... I am wondering, without having to go through the hassle of setting up several different programs, if anyone knows if the instant messaging programs now work together? I know that AOL and AIM work hand in hand....that if you have one, it works with the other so that I can talk to either AOL or AIM users. Does anyone know if AOL or AIM also works with those that have MSN or Yahoo? (I thought I read somewhere that they do now or that, that was something that was being worked on....) If someone who has an Instant Messaging program, other than AIM or AOL, would be so kind, could you IM me to see if our programs work together? Many thanks! Judy
