Hi Jane, Girls could marry at 12 and boys at 14, although they needed their parents' consent until they were 21. I think it was rather rare to see any marrying as young as that though. Sue:-) |

Thanks Sue I think i will have to have another look. John would have only been 12 and i don't know how old she would have been. Back to square one Thanks again Jane |
