N.A.A.F.I HELP i am trying to trace a relative that was in the naafi during WW2 i believe he died in service too where can i search records of people that were in the naafi PLEASE HELP its my grandad and no one in my family has any info on him silly of me really should have put his name on all i got on him is (on birth cert as father date may 1944 lambeth) Thomas Bray counter hand NAFFI normal residence camberwell (on marriage cert date may 1927 wandsworth) age 39 father james residence battersea

There is definitely a NAAFI site that is for "lost" people to get in touch. I doubt if you will find a list of people that served on the Internet. That wouldn't be respecting people's privacy.

It is the Commonwealth War Graves Commission web site. Type in cwgc(.)org and you should find it. If you don't, let me know. Paul

The site in question is the "Commonwealth War Graves Comission". The site is www.cwgc.org I found my Grandfather on this site. Your Granfather might have served in the E.F.I. (Expeditionary Forces Institute). This is a NAAFI T.A. which is part of the Royal Army Ordinance Corp (now Royal Logistics Corp). Good luck with your search. Regards

thanks have been on the deaths site no sign of him so maybe he didnt die during war cant find him think it time to search death indexes past war dates
