hi, i have just gone onto latter day saints & found many new details about my relatives on the IGI bit of it, is there any way i can view that persons tree? many thanks sam |

Hi Sam, as far as I know there are no trees on the LDS/IGI site, but you could put those namesyou found into the search here on GR and if they come up , contact whoever put up that tree...have I understood your question correctly/ Joan |

Sam The IGI is just information from parish records. There are some pedigrees on the LDS site, usually accessible from the Ancestral File section, but THESE ARE NOT NECESSARILY ACCURATE. I have found a few where I know the details are incorrect, but they sometimes have obvious gaffs like people's wedding dates being years before their baptisms! The LDS site also lists personal web-sites for families and these often have family trees. If you use an "All resources" search on LDS you should find these. This site also has family trees and you can search for your name to see who else is doing it. nell |

hi, many thanks for that - i have been trying to find more info on rellies via gc - but to no avail. didnt realise that they were parish records - oh well nevermind! - MY SEARCH CONTINUES!!! tee hee sam |
