Yesterday I sent a lookup to someone ( Sarah -it's on the Records board), only did it by reply through my email. It took until this afternoon for GR to send it back to me to tell me I should have sent it through my messages on the site and it had gone to them! (could have said anything!!!!!) As I hadn't had any response from Sarah, I presumed she had received it and I deleted her message from my contact list. So poor Sarah thinks I haven't bothered to do her look up, and I thought she hadn't bothered to say thank you (sorry about that Sarah, wherever you are) So folks -let this be a warning. I'm going scatty over this long winded way of contacting people. If anyone asks for a lookup, please also give me your emaill address so I can reply directly. Jackie |

Me too, I have had messages on my e-mail days after original contact and wondered "who is that?" and because I can't remember the contact have had to go all through the Contacts to work it out. Is it my imagination or has the site got really SLOW Rose |

So, how does the email thing work now? We send and receive GC emails through GC? But what about if we have thei email address already? Sorry, it's a stupud question but I'm really confused. They've not explained it at all. |
