I'd take it to mean the occupier of the address where she died - so if she was a live in domestic servant could well be her employer, but I suppose could also be someone who lived in same lodging house as her. Judith |

Does anyone know what 'occupier' means when it is written under the name of the person who is registering a death? The person does not appear to be related to the dead person. Could they be her employer (I think she was a domestic servant). Thanks Lynne |
