The other thing that annoys me is after you send a mail - you can't get back to the thread - I've just had to go to message boards, which in turn takes me to success board..arrrggghhh

Thats why I now have access to two trees that I have no interest in - what a daft way of going about things.. Jackie can I send you a test e.mail so I can see where this box is please ?

If you email from your inbox there is a small box under the message box which you have to uncheck. This option is rediculous as the box is ticked automatically and you have to UNCHECK it if you DON'T want the member you are emailing to have access to your tree.Trouble is, on my PC I have to scroll to find the box, so it's really easy to overlook this, which is probably what has happened in your case. Also has happened to me. So much easier when we could email members directly. Jackie

Just posted a reply to someone it looked fine, then when I posted it it had some of the text missing went back to edit it and the same thing happened again. Also seems to be a lot slower than it used to be.

Have just read several boards and realise I am not alone. Should have done that first. Was beginning to think I had lost my onions.

Have I gone completely round the twist? I can't make head or tail of this new connection system GR have thought up. Shall have to go on a course! It worked more or less well before. I am quite happy to open my tree to anyone who asks, but I'm getting an ever increasing lists of contacts with the tree open, with people who probably have checked it and gone on to someone else in their search. and when I tried cancelling a few I chose the wrong ones and got an immediate reproach from them. Any tips on how to use this new format?
