Paul: You can obtain copies of the Social Security application that was filled out by your descendents. There is a fee, last I checked it was approximately $27.00 (US Dollars.) The application they filled out would advise you of where they were from, parental information, birth dates and other information of interest. I'm at work now but I'm sure I can find an address or form for you to fill out and send for the information if you're interested in persuing this avenue. Judy

Hi Crista Thank you very much for the information. This is very exciting .My nan's two brothers left England when they married one in 1907 and one in 1908.Iam trying to find them on a passanger list .One settled in Burnaby British Columbia I have his death cert on which Lorena is the informant her address was Westwood California 96137.The other brother was found on the 1930 US census in Seattle name Alfred Whittington. It states that the three childred were born in England but that I feel is incorrect as I have records of death Gordon Robert Whittington b 22 Feb 1916 place CANADA death 19 May 1985 Orange ,mothers name Deboyne. Can I get any info from social security numbers?Unsure if I should write to the address you have given me until I can say what my relationship is to her. Thank you very much any further advice would be greatly appreciated. Chris UK
