1947 address look up?

I have an address for 16th January 1947....180 Queen Marys Road, Foleshill, Coventry. I believe my grandfather, Patrick Campbell was living there. Any ideas of how to check this? Many thanks, eveybody is always so helpful on here, carol

Electoral Registers for that year could give it to you. There is also a thread on Records Office Board from Rachael Howell - 2003 Electoral Register Look Ups. Page 2. Do you know if your person is still alive in 2003. Margaret

thanks Margaret, i'l check that out. I shouldnt think he's still around...I think he was born in 1900 !!
