Not sure as yet what I think - The one thing I have noticed is that all emails would apear to have to go via the site message boxes - not much good for cut'n paste or sending doc files. - Might have got it wrong though as I am watching TV and using the PC |

Peter, give it a chance. If you haven't had time to have a good look how can you say it's a load of rubbish. There was a message saying pics would be restored tomorrow and when you have time to look you'll find it's easy to view other trees if you have permission. I'm sure like most of us you'll see the improvement. |

I have been away for a couple of hours and when I came back on we have got back our original opening page where it listed, with pictures, Chat, Records, Tips, etc, boards. Much better, so someone is reading these thread! Margaret |

I don't like the new format much either, but on the point you made about other people's trees - if you go to your contacts, it will list them down with either a tree (if you have permission to view it) or request which presumably sends an email to that person asking them to give permission. That page doesn't look too bad, but overall, my first impression was "Ooh no, don't like this". Not that they'll listen to us... Carole |

OR If any of your Contacts have allowed you to see their tree, you can get in via "Your Contacts". |

Peter, I did see a GR person's reply on another thread, and they said that people's photographs will be restored shortly. Teething troubles I suspect. Mandy :) |

Don't like it, I have lost all of my pics, and there was quite a few there, and I cannot view other trees, what else will I find when I have the time to scroll around. Peter |
