I found some of my relative on the Ontario Cemeteries Finding Aid, but my surname is a bit unusual. http://www(.)islandnet(.)com/ocfa/ I tried Pinchess, and no results, Moore and Copeland, got a lot of matches, not easy to pin down unless you know where they went.

I am ALSO looking for descendants of my great grandfather's two brothers who must have emigrated from UK to Canada (Barrie Ontario) sometime before 1881. They were: William COPELAND b. 1845 Haltwhistle, Northumberland married Eliza ? Joseph COPELAND b. 1842 also Haltwhistle I have found them in 1881 Canadian census on the familysearch website but don't know where to start researching when they arrived/where they emigrated from etc

Hi there I am also looking for rellies that moved to Canada Lancelot Leslie PINCHESS (b 1899) and his wife Lillian (Ison) married in Hinckley Leicestershire in 1919. I think they lived around Toronto (Missisuaga possibly) They had a son Leslie Austin PINCHESS who died in 1943 in ww2 he maRried a lady (I presume canadian) called Marjorie. That is where the trail goes cold. We have found a link with some people in British Columbia but they seem very hesitant to speak to me I think they are scared I may find some skeletons - hey I've been tracing my tree for over two years now so I sure thier skeleton won't scare me!!!(LOL) Many thanks Janet xxx

Hi Mea, He was called Thomas Moore (known as Tommy) and was born 1899 / 1900 in Piddinghoe, Newhaven, East Sussex, England. His parents were: Kate Goddings and Ernest Edward Moore. I think he moved to Ontario, but I'm not sure. I'm afraid it's rather a common name, but would appreciate it, if you would have a look. Thanks Alison
