Hi Yes it is a useful link. I've now established that there's a good probability my Gt-x2-grandparents were living in Bray in 1851, as they were in1881, even tho' their son, who was born ca 1863-4, was very probably born in Essex (visiting family?). I make a lot of use of UKBMD.org.uk which has lots of excellent links of all kinds - and very clearly organised. thaks Christine

Glad to help, Frances - about time it was my turn! (Hope your wedding goes well - our birthday afternoon tea starts when I collect the 11 yr olds in 15 mins!) Glad you 'nudged' this - my contributions usually get buried from the 'main traffic' because of the time lag! Sue (in NZ)
