It's a bit boring, but when you just keep clicking on search eventually it works. LN

I've been on tonight and same thing happens but I do get there, I think its their way of saying its busy. Maybe it's a program error. Irene

And there was I thinking it was me. Mind you did order the BRVI from them at the beginning of July and when nothing had arrived by last week I emailed them and they said they had been upgrading their servers and my order amongst 1000s of others hadn't got through and hadn't been dispatched. Rang Birmingham, and it arrived 2 days later -and cheaper. Think they need to sack the engineers. Will go onto familyorigins instead. It's free there too!! Jackie

Usually if you click again ... and again .. etc, you will get through. As far as I know, it was only on the census that there was a problem - but tonight, nothing would work.

You and me both, it's driving me nuts - however if persist and keep going back to the beginning it eventually plays ball, but it takes for ever to do a search.

Is it me or is it the site? Since the beginning of July, every time I've logged on and entered my search, it has come up with the maintenance excuse. How long does it take to do maintenance on the site? I've tried different times of the day, evening, wee hours and I get the same message. Is it me, or have they got it in for me??? Jackie
