I KNOW 1901 MY GRANDFATHER WAS 20 AND SINGLE AT THAT TIME. MY FATHER WAS BORN IN 1926 AND WAS BORN IN THE FAMILY HOME WHICH HAD BEEN NEWLY BUILT BY COUNCIL. HOW DO I FIND OUT WHERE MY GRANDPARENTS MOVED TO WHEN THEY MARRIED AND STARTED THEIR FAMILY BEFORE SETTLING IN FAMILY HOME. CAN YOU SEE MY PROBLEM? MY FATHER WAS ONE OF 12/13 BUT BOTH MY PARENTS HAVE DIED, SO I CANNOT ASK THM ANY QUESTIONS. I WANT TO KNOW HOW MANY COUSINS AND SECOND COUSINS I HAVE AND WHERE THEY ALL ARE NOW.

Patricia for births after 1911 the indexes at the GRO (e.g. 1837 online or FreeBMD) will show the birth name and the maiden name of the mother - so it may be possible to trace the siblings this way - unless they are BOTH very common names. If you have your grandmothers maiden name already I'd get off to your local records officethat holds the GRO on fiche or on 1837 online and look for matches to the two surnames in the right area. If you don't have her surname yet then ordering a copy of your fathers birth certificate will give you this. Ordering one of the earlier birth certificates for their children will give you an an address they were living in at the time Zoe
