	Hi, Gwent record office probably have rolls for around that time. If you google Gwent record office you will find them on the web then you can email them and ask if they have them. They can take quite a while to search. Gwynne

	If your father was born in 1926, he would not appear on any electoral register before 1947 as the voting age was 21.
